Recently, gossip columns have been abuzz with the news of Kalki having complex with her co-star Katrina Kaif and that she doesn’t get along well with her.
However, Kalki has strongly denied such rumors and says, “There have been a lot of people picking on us that me and Kat are fighting. I think it is really sad because not one person has come and asked me what I think, they have just kind of assumed. There are no issues.”
Kalki has been actively participating in the promotional campaign of the film and was seen at the PVR Cinemas in Ambience mall, Gurgaon, along with Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, director Zoya Akhtar and Farhan’s production partner Ritesh Sidhwani.
Kalki’s next project is once again with her Dev D co-star Abhay Deol and she claims that the movie is a different one. “I don’t want to be labelled or trapped, my job is to change and adapt to everything that comes. And it’s exciting that I am doing something different,” she said.

Ileana D’Cruz, who carved her niche in South with superhit Pokkiri, is making her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfee’. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the male lead and since his character is named Murphy who pronounces it as barfee because he is mute, the film has been titled so. Interestingly, Ileana will get to portray her talents well in the flick because she will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to a 65-year-old.
Basu divulges in further details saying, “All the three lead actors are playing out-of-the-box, and extremely interesting characters in Barfee.”
“Ranbir Kapoor, as everyone knows, is playing a deaf and mute boy, Priyanka Chopra is not mentally-challenged as reported, but is mildly autistic (a form of mental illness that causes a person to withdraw into a private world of fantasy and be unable to communicate with others or respond to his/her real environment) in the film. Ileana D’Cruz, on the other hand, is playing a character who will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to 30 to a 65 year-old,” he added.
The shooting for the flick has already started on June 14 at Darjeeling which happens to be Ranbir’s hometown.

In 2007, controversial filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma decided to re-create the magic of the 70’s blockbuster movie, Sholay, the remake version was titled, Aag. At the time Big B was more then delighted to be apart of this project, as he always wanted to play the villainous role, Amjad Khan once played in the original, Sholay, a dream of his that was later fulfilled in Aag.
However, whilst on promotions for his latest release, Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap, while interacting with the media, he said, ‘Sholay’s remake was a mistake. I should not have acted in the remake of my own film; a remake will never be the same as an original, an original film will remain an original in my mind.’
Not only was the remake a box office disaster, it was slammed by the film critics and fans.
Better late than never, we’re glad the Big B realized the remake was a bad idea altogether.
Sholay is one of the best movies ever made in the history of Indian cinema, what other Bollywood remake do you think should have stayed an original?

American rapper Ludacris is going Desi baby! Back in October we told you that Luda is teaming up with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar to work on a track for the Hollywood film Breakaway, now we got confirmation that Bhangra group RDB is working on the track with them as well.
There were rumors that RDB was working on this track in the past, now the Bhangra boys say it’s official.
This isn’t the first time RDB and Akshay has teamed up with a famous rapper from the states, they have collaborated with Snoop Dogg in Singh is Kinng. The track itself however, did not appeal to the entire globe like many thought it would. Hopefully their collaboration with Ludacris will be more successful.
The film stars Hollywood and Bollywood actors that include Rob Lowe, Camilla Belle, and Anupham Kher. The trailer looks hot and the East meets West vibe bodes well here. The film reminds us of Bend it Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice which also featured Anupham Kher. Let us know if you are excited for this film after watching the trailer above!
