DAWN EDUCATION EXPO 2010 is a unique higher education platform, specially conceived to facilitate the enrolment of Pakistani students in universities and institutes of higher learning.

DAWN EDUCATION EXPO 2010 is organised with the specific objective of helping institutes of higher learning reach a national cross section of Pakistani students who have the qualifications and the means to contemplate further education in Pakistan or abroad.

DAWN EDUCATION EXPO 2010 is held at a critical juncture (late February) – when students have received their final results and are making their final choices regarding the institute they will choose for their higher studies.

DAWN EDUCATION EXPO 2010 has a proven track record of success. In 2009, DAWN EDUCATION EXPO was held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. It attracted an audience of over 20,000 top achieving students. Many universities and higher education institutes participating from Pakistan, Australia, France, Germany, Singapore, the UAE, the UK and the USA, the 2009 event was a resounding success.

Pearl Continental Hotel
The Pearl Continental Hotel is a 5-Star hotel centrally located in the heart of Lahore, 25 minutes away from the Allama Iqbal International Airport. The Pearl Continental Hotel offers the largest banquet and conference facilities in Pakistan at about 56,000 sq. ft., and can accommodate up to 30,000 visitors and 120 exhibitors. In-house audio-visual services are also available.

Jinnah Convention Centre The Jinnah Convention Centre is located next to the Diplomatic Enclave. The Centre can accommodate up to 20,000 visitors and 110 exhibitors. The main conference hall on the ground floor has a seating capacity of 314 people and the gallery area can accommodate up to 1,630 people. The second floor has a media room with a seating capacity for 80 people and a press briefing room that can accommodate 40 to 50 people. Arrangements can be made for fax, telex, data transfer, photocopies and other communication facilities. The parking area has space for over 500 cars.

Media Campaign & Publicity for the DAWN Education Expo 2010

To ensure maximum participation, Dawn Education Expo will be supported by a nationwide, multimedia advertising campaign in DAWN in the print media, DawnNews on TV, CityFM89 on the radio and DAWN.COM in the digital space.

To further widen the outreach of DAWN Education Expo, an extensive Special Report will be published with DAWN on the first day of the exhibition in each city. The Special Report will feature specially commissioned articles pertaining to education in general, as well as information about participating universities and colleges
