Punjab University’s College of Information and Technology won research contest

PU wins research contest
Lahore: Punjab University’s College of Information and Technology (PUCIT) has won the first prize in innovative research in all categories and second prize in the category of information systems in the All Pakistan Inter-Colleges and Universities Project and Research Competition.


According to a press statement issued on Friday, more than 300 projects were presented in the areas of electro mechanical systems, information systems, communication systems and digital systems from more than 40 universities.


Dr Arif Mahmood, assistant professor of PUCIT, won the coveted innovative research award. Four BS students of the PUCIT, Muhammad Ahsan, Muhammad Shaban, Fareed Babar, and Waqar Ameen, won the second prize for their project named “Agile Project Management Tool”.
